Visiting Luganda

Luganda is a major language of Uganda, spoken by over 16 million Ganda and other people mainly in Southern Uganda, including capital Kampala. Uganda is home to the highest mountain range in Africa, the Mountains of the Moon in the Rwenzori National Park. The Nile also originates here and the area around Jinja contains white-water rafting that is second to none. Uganda has the highest concentration of primates on earth, including the majestic mountain gorilla, one of the rarest animals on the planet.
